Supervision
A Note on Neurodiversity in Therapy
I cannot emphasise enough that working safely and effectively with neurodivergent clients requires proper training, lived experience, or specialist support. Neurodiversity is not an “add‑on” or a niche interest — it fundamentally shapes how clients process, relate, regulate, and experience therapy. My supervision offers a space to deepen competence, confidence, and ethical awareness in this area.
I offer supervision for counsellors, trainees, coaches, and neurodivergent practitioners. My supervisory style is Person‑Centred, trauma‑informed, and neurodiversity‑affirming, with a strong focus on reflective practice, ethical decision‑making, and relational awareness.
Supervision Focus:
Neurodiversity‑affirming practice (ADHD, autism, AuDHD)
Trauma‑informed and domestic‑abuse‑aware work
Working with ADHD presentations in therapy
Parallel process, relational dynamics, and ethical reflection
Supervision for mixed‑neurotype therapist–client relationships
Space for identity, lived experience, and practitioner wellbeing
I welcome supervisees who value curiosity, compassion, and collaborative exploration.
Consultancy
I offer one‑off neurodivergent case consultations for counsellors, trainees, coaches, and mental‑health practitioners who need specialist support when working with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, or mixed‑neurotype therapeutic relationships.
These sessions provide focused, practical guidance on neurodiversity‑affirming practice, ethical considerations, and clinical decision‑making. They are ideal for practitioners who want clarity on a specific client, presentation, or therapeutic challenge.
